Program 2010

On March 17th Thessaloniki Association has taken part in a get together which emphasized the importance of the group and its role in Melbourne. The story is that since 2003 there were 2 dinghies built by funds from the City of Melbourne. These dinghies which were destined to be used by the disabled sailors in Thessaloniki never arrived. Seven years later after the work put up by a member of our association Mr Iakovos Garivaldis and the additional funding required put up by Thessaloniki Association "The White Tower" the boats were ready to be shipped out. Hence the wonderful celebration. Η Ένωση Θεσσαλονικέων "Ο Λευκός Πύργος" έδωσε πάλι το παρόν στην παρέλαση που διοργανώθηκε εορτάζοντας την Εθνική Εορτή των Ελλήνων της 25 Μαρτίου 1821. Τα λάβαρα της Ένωσης σηκώθηκαν ψηλά και παρέλασαν μπρος από τους επισήμους.

Μια ακομη πολυ πετυχημενη εκδηλωση της Ενωσης Θεσσαλονικεων, την Κυριακη 30 Μαιου στην Ταβερνα ΝΙΚΟΣ. Διακρινονται η Προεδρος κ. Κατια Ζηκου και μελη, σε στιγμες χορωδιακου τραγουδιου.
Την εκδηλωση τιμησαν πεντε πρωην Προεδροι μαζι με 200 μελη, φιλους και εκφωνητες του Ραδιοφωνου.Ο χορος, το κεφι και η ζεστη σαλωνικιωτκη ατμοσφαιρα, αφησαν αριστες εντυπωσεις στους τυχερους παρευρισκομενους.
